Orchestras & Ensembles
Orchestra:
Every student learning an orchestral instrument will be encouraged to join the orchestra.
The orchestra will be comprised of both students and teachers, young and old and will be all inclusive regardless of ability!
We would love it if family members of the students ,who play orchestral instruments, would come and join us also (free of charge of course) as it is important to us that this is a community orchestra open to all.
Orchestra rehearsals will be every Saturday at 3p.m. in the Musica Fusion School of Music.
If you know of anyone who would like to join, please spread the word. They would be most welcome.
Choir: Every student learning non orchestral instruments and voice students will be encouraged to join the choir.
Any student in the orchestra can also be a member of the choir. The choir will consist of students and teachers and is open to any members of their families and the wider community free of charge. Like the orchestra, it is important to us that this choir is a community choir open to all.
Rock Band: All students learning guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar, drums, percussion, keyboards and vocals will be encouraged to join a rock band! We will practice on the stage with the p.a. System,microphones, amps and pedals and get the feel of life as Rock Star!!
Guitar Orchestra: Guitar orchestra is open to all classical guitar students.
We will also be forming some smaller ensembles throughout the year: String Quartets, Wind and brass ensembles, Piano duets, vocal ensembles etc...
Our aim for all our students is to help them feel comfortable performing with others and learn to love their instruments. As all of us teachers can testify, the friends you make through music will last you a lifetime!!
